John L Sullivan Boston Strong Boy In Space #8

John L. Sullivan, Buque and Dawk have a day off while Mrex’s ship gets some repairs. The locals recognize Buque and remember him as a great fighter. The guys head to a bar for some drinks, meet some other fanboys and swap some stories. Buque and Mrex clue JLS into what happens to a trainer who falls out of favor with their owner, and it’s not a pleasant ending. Not all are happy to see Buque, some thugs that lost money betting against Buque show up and show their displeasure. Insults are hurled and then a few punches. JLS and Buque make short work of the thugs but end up in the pokey for a short stay. They finally make it back to the ship, meet an angry Mrex, get the low down of the next opponent, and deal with some major hangovers.
