Boston Strong Boy In Space

Joe Corrao,Matt Larson

Standard Comic
Full Color
Page Count: 28

John L. Sullivan is back in training for the next opponent. As usual he is a tough pupil to teach. His headstrong ways and know-it-all attitude cause a constant friction between Buque and himself. It reaches a boiling point where the 2 come to blows. Mrex watches with Dawk and is fine with the friction as long as he gets the results he wants; the last thing he wants is a bond between the 2. John learns about Buque's past from Dawk, the history of his ascent and ultimate downfall to his current state of captive trainer. John L. softens a bit and offers Buque an olive branch in the form of synthetic beer and promises to work with him and not be fighting him at every turn. The mostly fictional story of John L. Sullivan, The Boston Strong Boy, and 1st recognized Heavyweight Boxing Champ. After displaying his fighting prowess, John L is persuaded to leave the comfy confines of Boston to try his luck in pursuit of a championship that stretches the galaxies. The offer is too good to pass up for someone who thrives on being the best. Along the way he takes some lumps, pisses off some people, makes some friends, learns a few new fighting tricks and kicks some inter-galactic butt.
