Coronavirus Statement  Updated 3/26

Ka-Blam was able to get their perfect binder working again and all ordered trade paperbacks have been bound and shipped. Thank you for your patience and understanding. That’s the good news.

The other news is that Orlando, FL –where the IndyPlanet and Ka-Blam offices are located– is now under a Stay-at-Home order until April 9th due to the Coronavirus pandemic, so until then we won’t be able to ship any comics.

The site will still be fully functional and you'll be able to place orders, they just won't ship until after the Stay-at-Home order has been lifted.  That said, all of our digital downloads remain available for immediate purchase and download! We've got thousands of great comics --MANY of them FREE-- for you to download and read while you're staying at home and helping flatten the curve!

We appreciate your support and understanding during this time and look forward to continuing to serve the comics community for many years to come.

Be safe, keep making comics, and do what we’re doing — STAY HOME!

What It's About

When ‘Little Miss Popular’ Ruby Kaye lands a pair of super-tech glasses (invented by brainiac college geek Trevor Goldstein) in a game of Strip Poker, she’s granted flight, super-strength, and – due to a flaw in the glasses’ programming – super-klutziness! And this is just the beginning of the changes the glasses will wreak on Ruby…

Trying to be a super-hero, Ruby Kaye stumbles across a mysterious and extremely dangerous new villain taking down her town’s Numero Uno heroine – and is forced to step up and use her powers for more than just accidentally knocking drinks over her friends… Geek-Girl is entering the Super-Hero Big Leagues – whether she’s ready or not!

Sam Johnson has created a fun and funny character in G.G., this is an all-ages book, that isn’t too childish and eveybody can enjoy it.

I first found Carlos Granda’s art in Black Mask’s Pirouette and loved it but here Nahp’s colours give it a nice bright tone that was thematically absent in Pirouette.

Johnson has created a throwback to Stan Lee’s early Peter Parker and ‘turned up’ the comedic elements to ’11’ and I feel G.G. could x-over effortlessly with Marvel’s Squirrel Girl, Howard the Duck, Gwenpool, Patsy Walker –
Hellcat, Slapstick, and even Deadpool (by Cullen Bunn or Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn).
