FOSSIL GENOME NAVIGATION is a series of paintings which discusses the metaphysical aspects of DNA that are evident when examining Evolutionary Biology. ‘Pop Surrealist” artwork incorporates images of ancient fossils intersecting with humanity”s curiosity. Work-in-progress photos are combined with close-up images of these tactile and textured mixed media paintings. A brief essay describes the mysterious aspects of how humans “see through time” when discovering and studying early vertebrate creatures, particularly dinosaurs and Ice Age mammals.
