The first issue introduces two film critics from Chicago, who are addicted to sex, drugs and films. We come upon them at their apartment with film cases laid all over, drugs on the coffee table, and a prostitute. They’re watching what seems to be something very similar to American Psy- cho. We see a world of excess and pleasure, they straddle between reality and fantasy. Jerald “Don’t you just want to crawl out of this into the TV?” Richard “Reflections on a wall is all we are nowhere to crawl to.”
We live in a world full of media, and as we explore the world together through films, the lens we place upon the world changes how we see it. “For every lens we make to see the world anew, focus is found in losses and gains.”
