Previously: Anansi Weaver and the crew of Science Legion Alpha successfully pulls a prank on Prometheus High School football player Ryan Norris which lands them in the sights of Principal Bullfinch… and something unearthly. Narrowly escaping punishment by joining the school track team Anansi Weaver is sent on an errand by his mother only to encounter a talking spider. Scared out of his ever loving mind by the talking spider, Anansi Weaver runs away only to run into Ryan Norris and his two cousins who are looking for a little payback.
Teenaged prankster Anansi Weaver is chosen by the trickster god Kawaku Anansi to be his avatar during a Contest of Pantheons to see which trickster god is the greatest trickster of all time. Imbued with a fraction of his patron god’s might, Anansi Weaver is engaged in the ultimate battle of wits with the most cunning beings in all creation ….and loves every second of it.
