Dale Sprague is a desperate man with too many secrets, all of which are about to come out. When his wife and daughter are threatened because of his mistakes, he decides to come clean and tell Diana, his wife, everything. When she leaves him, in fear for her life and out of anger for what he has done, Dale makes a tragic wish that will change his life and the world around him forever. Now, is it too late to make things right again?
What if, once in our lives, in times of great desperation, or desire, each of us is given one wish that can change our lives, or even the world ? What if we are not allowed to remember the wish or understand its true consequences as our memory of making it is erased as soon as it is spoken ? What if there were a magical being known only as the Wish, who appeared to us at a time of its own choosing, at one special moment in our lives, and gave us the chance to make one spontaneous wish for whatever we wanted, and then wiped the experience from our consciousness to hide its existence? And what if, for the first time ever, somebody didn't forget?
