In a dark future, scientists, through advances in genetics have created new species of humans in hopes that they might survive better in a now dying world. A great catastrophe known as "The End" has destroyed most of the planet and the original humans are dying out. A mysterious chemical called. "Blue" begins appearing on H'trae. This seemingly benign chemical purifies the toxic air and water but no one knows where it comes from or why it exists
