A barefoot pipe worker named Magnus lives and toils beneath the surface of an alien planet.. Each day he and many others must work long hours to receive their portion of water. After years of traveling to his subconscious oasis, he discovers a mysterious being claiming to be the creator of his dreams. When he awakens, he discovers that its voice is in his head, urging him toward a new destiny. With its guidance, Magnus begins to unravel secrets...secrets that may transform the world around him and the depths of his own heart. This story is at its core an allegory of the positive impact of faith on society, giving symbolic reference to the Old and New Testaments. This graphic novel includes bonus art and sketches, and has an unusual visual style incorporating elements of manga, industrial grunge, and steampunk.
Book 1 in this series concentrates on the journey and discoveries of the main character, Magnus.
